Korea's Startup Idea Visa 

South Korea was ranked the 9th in the startup ecosystem worldwide in 2024.

The government is putting a lot of effort to increase innovation and improve the startup ecosystem even more to turn Korea into a global startups and innovation hub. 

Part of Korea's effort is to encourage great ideas  from other countries to come to Korea and establish their innovative startups in Korea. 

OASIS, the Overall Assistance for Startup Immigration System was established years ago to support non-Korean entrepreneurs and talents who have great ideas and want to participate in the Korean innovation ecosystem.

The program operators are increasing every year so is the support. You will need to complete courses to obtain the points necessary to qualify for the Pre-Startup or Startup Visa. 

Recently SkalePlus, a web app that works on mobile and computer browsers has been established to support this mission in Korea with a marketplace connecting global startups with legal, tax, and other professional services that are necessary for startup success in the country.

Corporate Establishment: Corporate establishment is necessary for D-8-4 (Startup Visa).
